Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service Team
The 28 students in the Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service are New York State-certified emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who provide 24-hour volunteer emergency service to the campus community during the academic year. Along with the rest of the nation, Hamilton recognizes the achievements of its EMTs during National Collegiate EMS Week, the week of November 13.

Students Attend Biomedical Research Conference
Fourteen members of ROOTS, Hamilton's Society for Students of Color in STEM, attended the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Students (ABRCMS) in Anaheim, Calif. Funding for the trip was provided by Hamilton's Dean of Faculty Office and a grant from Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The students were accompanied by Associate Professor of Chemistry Max Majireck and Assistant Professor of Biology Rhea Datta.

Mock Trial Team
Hamilton's Mock Trial team is a competitive intercollegiate trial simulation team that competes nationally at other colleges and universities and in American Mock Trial Association tournaments. Mock Trial members learn basic and advanced trial law skills through the team's trial advocacy program. These skills include persuasive speaking and rhetoric skills, acting skills, and legal reading and writing skills.

Model UN Team
Hamilton's Model UN team attended three conferences during the spring 2019 semester and won awards at each. This is the first time in MUN history that the team has taken awards at every conference they attended in a semester, and they are currently on a streak of four straight conferences where Hamilton has received at least one award.
